Water to Air Heat Pumps

Vortex Water to Air heat pumps use the stable ground temperature to produce warm air for Winter heating or cold air for Summer cooling and dehumidification.

Each heat pump includes:
  • Energy efficient scroll compressor, pre-charged with environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant.
  • A tubular heat exchanger connected to the ground and a fin tube coil to transfer energy from the refrigerant to indoor air.
  • Energy efficient EC motor to deliver the indoor air.
  • A programmable controller for operation, status updates and troubleshooting.

Options available:
  • desuperheater with pump and control for high efficiency domestic hot water
  • Built in zone dampers and zone control to permit up to four separately controlled zones within the building.

Single Stage
Energy efficient and low cost.
  • An excellent choice when heating and cooling needs are closely matched

Two-Stage
A two-speed scroll compressor is used to boost overall efficiency and more closely match heating and cooling loads.
  • A building only needs full heat pump capacity during the coldest and hottest days.  Most of the time, the compressor runs at lower capacity but the full capacity of the heat exchangers are available to provide a higher efficiency as well as reducing the losses of frequent on/off cycles.
  • The advanced control only brings on second stage when operating time or temperatures require it.

Variable Capacity (Digital)
A precisely controlled scroll compressor is used to modulate between 10% and 100% capacity to precisely match the heating or cooling load.
  • Indoor fan and compressor modulate to match the indoor load to provide superior comfort and efficiency
